Six low cost ways to promote your business

Blogging -This is basically an online version of word of mouth business. For the most part blogs get updated on a regular basis and it acts as a direct feedback to your company. Proving to be both cost effect and popular with consumers and readers.

Business Cards -Let me say this first. You should have business cards on you at all times. If you’re the business owner or a representative this is your companies front line of communicating your product or service to the people that would use it now or possibly want to use it in the future. Last time I checked business cards were also two sided. You can use this extra space as an opportunity to include more information for your company.

Email -When you send out an email blast it will increase the awareness that you’re working for customers business and considering their possible needs, by sending out messages of updates about your products, services and current offers. In business, changes and decisions are being made all the time by the people who run them. Let them know you’re considering their needs as a customer and that they are important to you. It will prove to be effective for bringing in new business at the same time.

Networking -To be well connected doesn’t always mean only to be connected at the top. It also has to do with the number of connections that you have. The more your name and business is out in the marketplace the more possibilities for business relationships you could form. For small or local business networking can be a lifeline to your growth and existence. You may look for local area groups or affiliations to assist with this endeavor.

Referrals-When you take good care of the customer you worked so hard to get, it will go a long way. You end up with a customer that is satisfied with what you did for them. Maybe, even how they were treated during a crisis. Enough can not be said for good customer service. Build that relationship and report and your customers will spread accolades on your behalf. With that you should give the same type of service and attention to the person that comes from the referral. It worked the first time don’t stop.

Signs-With different variables and versions of what sign might be effective for your business today you should consider the cost at hand and what type of business you are promoting. Roadside signs may work great for some and for others this isn’t even a consideration. Signs posted at intersections or busy crossings are not a place they get their customers from. Maybe, billboards are more viable option to you. Consumers pass them everyday too and from their destinations. The sign outside your business, is that the priority? It ensures that your location is visibly found. The signs on the move. Now the version of this has become more mainstream. There are the typical information statements on company vehicles. But, now we have the bus billboards and the trendy vehicle wraps. One of these may be the edge you’re looking for with your customers and against the competitor.
