Business Network at the Craft Shows

There are a lot of benefits in joining a California crafts show. In California there is a big population of tourist coming in because of Las Angeles being one of the biggest entertainment industries. But how do we take advantage of this opportunity?

California Craft Show is a big opportunity for you to meet other vendors, craft makers and customers. You can learn a lot from talking with vendors or other craft makers. They will be willing to talk with you about their experiences as a craft maker. If you are a good listener to your customers you talk to you will also learn what they commonly want and are looking for.

In a craft show you will get opportunities to create your own business network. Start by making your business card. They do not have to be expensive and be making at a print shop. You can easily get your family to help you make a creative and unique type of business card.

Encourage your customers to give their contact information or business card. You can do this by offering to give away small crafts in exchange for their business cards or contact information. Have a fishbowl in the middle of a table where your customer can put their business cards in.

You can also plan to have giveaway promotional items with your company logo and address on it. Having your company name logo and address on the items will help your customer remember you. Then based on the business cards that you have gathered you can send out post card invitation to your next craft shows.

Always remember to ask for your customers email address. This will be cheaper then sending our post card invitations. After a few shows you would have your own customers and whole sale buyers at this time you can then call them up to invite them to you next craft show.
