Small Caterpillar Bulldozers For Sale

You may think, that the construction, or demolition job is too small to be bothered getting a caterpillar dozer to help out with, but your likely to be surprised. Bulldozers, do come in all kinds of sizes, are very versatile with what they can do, and how little room they need to work in.

Mind you, they can do some of the same stuff, just not on the same scale as a real bulldozer, even if it is a small one. When I say small, I’m thinking of a d2, d3, or d4 Caterpillar sized bulldozer. That’s still a pretty good sized machine, great for clearing trees or piles of dirt and wood from the farm.

While money may be tight these days, for those with spending money this is a major bonus. We’re in a buyers market for everything from gift baskets to luxury homes, and everything in between (which includes bulldozers). Snapping up a new or used machine now that still has a lot of years left in it, may be the best bargain you’ll get.

That said, you may want to hedge your bet by sticking with the more reliable brand names when you buy. Caterpillar is likely the best know, and uses the same technology for it’s big industrial strength dozers, as it does for it’s smaller ones, so you should be safe with them.

That’s not to say, that John Deere, Komatsu, or Case don’t build good machines, because they do. Another thing to check on his how well a used dozer has been maintained. Studying the machine itself with a good diesel mechanic is a good step. Photos or videos of the machine are also helpful, if you can’t get to the dozer in person.

It suggests that they were doing at least minimum upkeep on their dozer. Secondly, it should give you a pretty good idea of what you’ll need to do to keep your little dozer running.

When shopping for bulldozers, it’s important to keep a few things in mind. Number one, it doesn’t really matter your buying, if you look hard enough, your going to find the best prices online. It’s always been less expensive, for a vendor to sell something through a website that has low overhead.

Secondly, you’ll find more selection online, especially for hard to find items, like caterpillar bulldozers.
