10 things I hate about SEO services and SEO software

I hate SEO companies. Why is it they all look act and feel like each, other with zero creativity? O.k., I know hate may be a politically incorrect word, but in this case it sums up my feelings about SEO websites and products. My problem with the SEO industry comes from weeks of looking for whole and current SEO information. You might relate to a few of my top 10 list. As far as I can tell, 99% of all SEO companies on the web are carbon copies of each other.

10. Everybody is an “expert!” They must be joking. These “experts” are living in their parents garage, sparking the bong first thing in the morning.

9. Getting free information will cost me an arm and a leg. Why is it that SEO service fees are hidden? That scares me dude. Then, when I order it, it becomes an invitation to repeatedly suck my bank dry?

8. The websites are so f-ing sterile! The websites say “Hey, we are just like every other SEO company with a white site!” Good luck trying to tell the difference between true SEO and flim flam SEO.

7. Everything I buy will “sky rocket” my profits! Really?! That’s great. because I was wondering how I was going to sell my collection of used sox. How much traffic will I need to sky rocket my profits?

6. Everybody has a key to “the back door” of Google. Right. The only people with back door keys to Google is Google, and they don’t give them away.

5. The dreaded “black hat SEO” warnings as endless page filling content. You can stop educating yourself reading this drivel, if you simply realize search engines frown on any type of spam marketing. Period. Black hat equals spam of any kind. Here is your diploma, now move on.

4. Every site is offering a “revolutionary new system to…”. All of my money problems will disappear in 48 hours, and I will be on the high road to “financial freedom” instantly. In truth, Earning a living from a website takes hard work, and focus everyday to make really big money. You will also need to own some professional and analytical SEO tools that make your SEO life easier.

3. I must attend some mucky muck conference. Why? Can’t I learn this stuff in front of my computer in my jammies? I’ll rip and burn the DVD a week after it’s over.

2. The arrogance is laughable. I don’t need another sizzling sales pitch about “SEO secrets” from an SEO ‘guru’ that just graduated high school last week. I’d rather remain ignorantly blissful, with my wallet in tact.

1. Snake oil websites can hit page one of Google, while websites and products with integrity can be outranked by SEO tricks? This one burns me the most. This is like having a search engine endorse and promote sub-par products. Sorry, There is no way to make this one funny.

The products promoted are a group of the best SEO tools the entire web has to offer, not site specific tools. CoolSEOMarketingDirectory.com is a black, non-corporate completely unique kind of SEO website. It will chase away half of the visitors who come to it, simply because it looks nothing like a typical SEO website. I say thats too bad. If you want an average SEO website there are thousands of them out there. Real SEO should not be a cookie cutter copycat site. It should be unique and relevant in every way. After all, SEO should be for the benefit of people, not search engines.
