Women Deserve More Credit In Corporate America

In this day and age, a lot of business women are famed for being workaholics. Although they do earn a lot of money and live a good life, there is a drawback to all of this. Most business women often find themselves in the same situation as their husbands without much time for their personal or social lives. For this reason, some of them have second thoughts about their jobs and usually decide to leave their careers to spend more time with their family. This a decision can cause the wife to feel bad about herself as she has given up here career for her family. Do what others are doing. Start a home based business. One that pays well. Being a business woman is never easy because you are busy most of the time. You want to spend time with your husband and kids but your schedule just won’t allow you to. The key is to set up times to run your business. These time should not be moved or changed unless it is a real emergency.

Most business women stop at the pinnacle of their career just to spend time with their family. But now that home based businesses are becoming popular, not to mention booming, they can still continue working without sacrificing being with their family.

Although this situation does sound inviting and less stressful, setting up your home based business isn’t as laid back as it appears. Even though you are staying home to work, you still have to be able to attend to client’s needs while taking care of your family. Do yourself a favor and get a Global Mentor.

Balancing both of them can be very exhausting, not to mention demanding. Nevertheless, there are means to cope through these without losing your head. You need to have a heart to heart talk with your family. Nothing too serious, make it seem like a normal family meeting or conversation. This approach will ease your family into feeling comfortable as you relay to them what the real situation is. They have to understand that you are still working even if you don’t go to your office anymore. You can make a schedule so you can stabilize your time and give an equal share of your concentration to your work and to your family.

First task is for you to sit with your family and set some rules with them and make them understand that you don’t stay at home just to clean up after them. Your family has to realize that when you were still working in an office they don’t go barging in your workroom to have their snacks opened for them and the same applies in your new work. Tell them that they can do their chores while you work and then you can attend to them during lunch time or after you get some of your work done. This way, your family will know that you need time to focus on your job as well.

If your kids are too young for chores, you can consider hiring a nanny or a teenage babysitter. Let’s face it. No matter how much you want to mind your kids 24/7, it’s just not possible especially if you have a deadline to meet or if you have a really important client call. Having someone watch over your kids for a few hours can give you a few more hours to catch up and finally finish your work.

Develop your Financial Freedom Plan and get your Husband’s signature to solidify the deal. Insure he knows that you have potential to earn more than he does through a good home based business. You are the one that needs to make it happen and keep the family to respecting your time to work.
